Come up with a rockstar. Your rockstar has to have a name, an instrument (or mic) and an awesome outfit. Can be a has-been or newly discovered talent. No band affiliation necessary.
After a month long hiatus, the artosaurs are back!

The Group Activity, as suggested by Jason, will be the secret santa letter activity. To participate in this group activity, you will need to write a letter to Santa and deliver it to me one week from now. I shall then put them into a drawing pot, and you will get your secret santa. After that, the santa will have one week to write a reply and deliver the letter in the same envelope to me. I will then anonymously hand them back to their respective recipients (I will not know who’s is who’s until they are opened). Once the letters have been delivered, we shall gather for a few minutes to deliberate who is who. After all has been revealed, the letters shall be posted to the artosaurs blog. Happy letter writing!

Hello all, I am going to go ahead and introduce a new category until we get the Creative Contest up and running again. This new category will be known as “Group Activity”. All that this will entail is that we will be given an assignment to create something separately, but in the end will be united and create it’s own piece. You will get 2 weeks to draw your assignment and turn it in. Rotation will flow in the same manner that the Weekly Theme does, but the GA will be once a month.
This month’s GA shall be power rangers! Specifically their robot animals that transform into Mega Zord! Your assignment is to:
- Pick a color from the list below.
- Create a power ranger, in costume, for the color you chose.
- Draw the appendage for the robot that is connected to your color choice .(The appendages will be photoshopped together.)
I know that sounds like a lot, but you can be as silly as you would like to be. The propose of this is to have something funny at the end that we have all created together. Here is to hoping that the GA will be fun and enjoyable for all.
Comment to this post with your choice:
Pink – Legs
Black – Chest
Green – Arms
Red – Head

This week’s theme is something symmetrical. It can be abstract or a real picture or whatever but it has to be symmetrical.

and chaff blown in two miles away
