Since Henry’s CC was such a success (at least I thought it was) and the photography was great, I thought we would extend that idea.  The challenge is to shoot a portrait, no old submissions please. By this I mean, the photo must be a person or pet.

No houses, cars, robots, etc.
No photoshop or illustrations.
No photoshop composite images.

The only editing to your submission should be cropping and color correction. The photo will be judged on creativity, framing and use of the subject. Photo quality (but not blurry or fuzzy) is not critical, so the use of a camera phone will not count against you. Due 11AM, Friday, August 13. Have fun, take some great pics!

Welcome to the new creative contest number 2!  The deadline is next Friday and will incorporate realism as a major theme.  What you are to do, is take a fictional character and place it in a believable real life situation.  I am including an example to help convey the theme.  This is toad, as a regular person who is sick and who has a red and white polka dotted ice bag on his head.

Good luck Artosaurs!

Alex Sanders: Vesuvius

All those years of digging underground in the technodrome and they never have come across anybody until now. While Shredder and Krang were just cruisin underground they stumbled across an underground society. Of course they were already making plans to take it over, but their was one problem. Vesuvius the ruler of the Magma Rockites stood in their way. He has excellent defense and offense capabilites, he is able to spew lava out of his hands, and is very wise. He is however fairly slow and vunerable to extreme cold. After taking massive damage to the technodrome by the Magma Rockites led by Vesuvius, Krang realizes a frontal assault won’t work. So he developes something to help him out. He creates a collar that can be placed on the neck of a Magma Rockite that with the click of a button will send surges of extreme cold throughout the person’s body, which is very painful to a Magma Rockite and will weaken them temporarily. They eventually get one the collars on Vesuvius and force him into making him and his people obey Krang and Shredder. Now with the aid of the Magma Rockites Krang and Shredder are nearly unstoppable and are already making their way to the surface to try and once again take over the world. This time the Ninja Turtles aren’t fighting a legion of mindless foot soldiers, but also a legion of intelligent and powerful warriors. Can Donatello figure out how to deactivate the collar before it is too late, can the other Ninja Turtles even buy him enough time? Vesuvius is coming and he may be the key that Shredder and Krang need to rule the world and finally defeat those wretched reptiles!
